Position Overview

The Manager of Strategic Partnerships reports to the VP of Growth and is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with community organizations and employers to grow Robertson College's prospective student pipeline. Leading a team of two director reports this role complements the work of our Admissions team : while Student Advisors focus on converting leads into enrolled students, the Manager is tasked with generating connections by embedding Robertson within local communities, schools, and workplaces. The Manager, Strategic Partnerships plays a critical role in enhancing revenue performance for the company by integrating other areas into the sales department.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Relationship Building

Establish and nurture partnerships with community organizations, high schools, and newcomer based agencies. Organize and represent Robertson College at local events, job fairs, and cultural festivals to raise brand visibility and access new student audiences. This person will be the primary representative of Robertson, positioning the college as an approachable and valuable educational option for community members. Support the creation of localized content by connecting marketing with key community stakeholders. Connect with local employers to identify workforce development and training needs. Facilitate opportunities for micro course programs and corporate training in coordination with internal teams. Assist the VP of Growth in building employer pipelines that drive both student enrollment and contract revenue.

Alumni Engagement

Build and sustain strong relationships with Robertson alumni. Leverage alumni networks to support student referrals, mentoring programs, content development, and market insights. Actively engage alumni in outreach activities and community events. Contribute to consistent alumni feature(s) that are purposefully aligned with student success stories.

Collaboration & Sales Enablement

Supply Student Advisors with high-quality, community-sourced leads. Keep CRM systems up to date with outreach activities and contact information. Share on-the-ground insights and community feedback with recruitment and marketing teams to inform strategy.

Reporting & Data Management

Track outreach efforts, referral-based lead generation, and partnership impact. Provide regular updates to the VP of Growth on the performance and ROI of community-driven initiatives.


What are we looking for?An entrepreneurial mindset, who enjoys working in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Proven experience, (3 - 5 years) in relationship/partnership management or business development. A bonus if you have a sales background. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across departments. You are comfortable with presentations and are a natural conversationalist. Proficiency in CRM software (preferable SaleForce) and sales technology tools. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to improve sales performance. Commitment to excellence and a results-oriented approach Must be willing to travel to other campuses and attend events
