SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Manager, Storage Integrity and Reliability is responsible for the design and maintenance of natural gas storage cavern and reservoir assets to ensure safe, reliable and affordable operation. This role oversees the entire asset lifecycle function of storage assets including the planning support, engineering design, maintenance strategy, field support, and abandonment processes. This role oversees the Storage Integrity Management Program, which directs the abovementioned functions and ensures regulatory compliance.Position DetailsNon-union. This position is permanent full time.Key AccountabilitiesLead the design of new assets and support the maintenance of existing ones, balancing the use of internal and external resources.Plan, direct, and lead strategic capital efforts related to storage assets, including the design of new assets and the maintenance of existing ones.Ensure compliance and coordination with industry standards and regulations in support of long-term planning.Manage and coordinate the further enhancement of the Corporate Unified Management System (UMS) programs and plans related to storage asset maintenance, integrity, and reliability.Collaborate with operational and planning teams to establish and monitor storage asset performance.Develop and maintain plans for asset optimization and lifecycle management, aligning with business demands and regulatory requirements.Conduct risk assessments and develop risk-based strategies for asset integrity and reliability optimization.Engage with industry associations to ensure the Corporation\xe2\x80\x99s adherence to current and future standards.Coordinate with regulatory bodies and collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with provincial and federal requirements, addressing any compliance issues and mitigating associated risks.Provide leadership and guidance to team, ensuring the development of individual and team performance.Establish roles and responsibilities, conduct planning sessions, and monitor team effectiveness.Champion and monitor cross-functional processes that support storage asset activities under the Storage Integrity Management Program.Other related duties as assigned.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesDegree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Petroleum, Environmental, or Geological is preferred, others may also be considered) or Geoscience (Geology or Geophysics).Professional Designation as an Engineer (P.Eng) or Geoscientist (P.Geo) registered to practice in Saskatchewan.Seven (7) years of progressive experience related to the design, maintenance, and operation of natural gas storage assets.Strong leadership and team management skills with demonstrated ability in building and maintaining effective relationships with other stakeholder groups.Experience with applicable design codes and regulatory bodies.Must have a continuing record of professional development and continuous learning.A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.Additional InformationTravel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters, is required on occasion.A Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License is required.The job is safety sensitive, and as such, is subject to the provisions of the Drug and Alcohol Policy (Pre-Employment or Pre-Placement for Safety Sensitive Positions).Application InstructionsPlease apply online with your cover letter and resume outlining your qualifications.For more information on this position, please contact Human Resources at 306-777-9091. \xe2\x80\x8bClosing DateJune 10, 2024Salary Range$103,960 - $149,116#LI-POST
