Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our team and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for customer service, ensuring that our business objectives are met while fostering a positive work environment. This role requires effective communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.



The manager will work closely with the General Manager, Assistant Manager and

supervisors to continue to make K1 Speed not just a great place to visit, but also to work.

Full time, permanent position*
Approx. 35-40 hours per week*
Must have open availability including weekends*

Duties and Responsibilities

As an Manager you will be responsible for many duties including but not limited to:

Recruitment - complete interviews, new hire paperwork and orientations*
Training - support our trainers. New hires and existing employees*
Corrective actions - work with management team to track and conduct corrective actions*
Cash handling - prepare tills, change fund maintenance and preparation of deposits*
Customer service - work alongside employees to provide wonderful customer service*
Safety - ensure that all customers and employees are following the safety processes*
Policies and procedures - follow, train, maintain and update*
Scheduling - help to create and communicate work schedules*
Audits and reports - independently complete audits and reports*
Marketing - promote K1 Speed using different methods*
Employee relations - support employees as needed*

Qualifications

High school diploma or post-secondary school degree*
3+ years of experience in a management or supervisory role*
Experience with Google Apps including Google Docs and Google Drive*
5+ years of experience in customer service*

Experience

Proven leadership experience in a managerial role, preferably in retail or hospitality.*
Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.*
Strong interviewing and recruiting skills to attract top talent.*
Proficient in administrative functions with excellent organizational abilities.*
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers alike.*
Experience with POS systems and sales management practices is highly desirable.*

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
