We are looking for a Software Engineering Leader for the Asset, Value and Value Framework Engine team. We are a cross-functional team responsible for some of the core areas of the Copperleaf suite, such as Asset, Predictive Analytics, and the Value Framework Engine. This team is also responsible for the stand-alone product called Value.


You are someone who enjoys leading a cross-functional team to solve problems experienced by our clients by creating world-class software. You enjoy bringing out the best in the people on your team. You are a technically creative person who welcomes a challenge and are able to overcome tough obstacles on your own and through teamwork. You understand standard software development lifecycles and are familiar with software engineering best practices.

Key responsibilities:



Lead and inspire a team of talented software engineers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions Coach, mentor and develop teammates to help them excel and reach their full potential Foster a collaborative, high-performing team that is focused on delighting clients Identify and promote areas for growth and improvement within the team Recruit and onboard new coworkers, perform appraisals and set salaries Collaborate with product managers, program managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and priorities Lead the architecting, design, implementation, testing and automation of application features Plan workloads, communicate risks, and resolve obstacles for efficient delivery Support the adoption and usage of agile discovery and delivery methodologies Lead efforts to optimize and scale our software development infrastructure for improved performance and reliability Leverage AI to dramatically boost team productivity


Qualifications



You have previous technical leadership and people management experience, or an aptitude and willingness to move into this kind of role You have experience with developing software for highly scalable web-based applications You have experience with the .NET technical stacks or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to different technical stacks You have an aptitude for understanding the design of large systems and the impact of system changes You are able to apply best practices in agile methodologies in a way that best suits your team You have experience using generative AI to accelerate your projects You enjoy contributing to a high-functioning team, bringing attributes such as teamwork, empathy, respect, courtesy & discretion You have strong communication skills in managing stakeholders, coaching and providing feedback to team members You have a strong ability to manage employee career growth and engagement You have effective delegation and decision-making skills
