DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a forward-thinking and technically skilled Manager of Software Development to lead, motivate, and nurture a talented team of software engineers. More than just a people manager, you will serve as a technical leader and hands-on advocate for engineering excellence, offering deep architectural expertise, modern cloud-native development practices, and a persistent drive for AI-driven transformation throughout the software development lifecycle. This role is ideal for a leader who can earn respect through technical credibility and steer the team in adopting AI as a key driver of the company's long-term vision.
REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong AI fluency with practical implementation experience: designing solutions with AI support, generating and validating code with AI tools, applying AI in QA/testing, and automating documentation and deployment workflows.
• Proven experience as a Software Development Manager with a demonstrated track report of practical AI adoption.
• Deep technical expertise in Python/Django, Flask APIs, React, Angular, Node.js, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Secrets Management).
• Proven track record in system architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
• Ability to win respect from engineers through hands-on technical contributions and architectural thought leadership.
• Excellent leadership, English communication, and mentoring skills.
• Demonstrated success in managing software development projects using Agile SCRUM or Kanban
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical and personnel issues.
• Proficiency with issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA), documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence), and code management tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience leading remote or offshore teams is a plus (10+ developers).
