Our Corporate Security & Responsibility, Communications, Human Resources, Procurement & Value Creation and Real Estate teams work collaboratively to drive our corporate strategy forward.

Summary

The principal mandate of Corporate Security is to protect BCE property. The Bell Canada corporate security lawful access team is mandated to respond to requests from law enforcement and government agencies, meeting Bell\'s legal obligations. The Lawful access team is the only corporate entry point to receive, coordinate and fulfill Bell`s legal obligations to law enforcement agencies (LEA) across the country and is responsible for answering requests where human lives are at stake.

We are currently looking for a manager who will support the Lawful Access team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide the necessary guidance and expertise to the team that ensures the response to legal requests for information, calls of an urgent nature as well as requests for various assistance
  • Ensure an effective response to legal requests in accordance with legislated timelines as well as regulations surrounding the disclosure of information and Bell\'s related internal policies
  • Manage escalations and complex situations and maintain an inclusive relationship with all key stakeholders
  • Perform related administrative duties that ensure the proper functioning of operations and represent the corporation externally when required
  • Continue to make process recommendations and improvements by asking questions, engaging team and sharing ideas
  • Develop and maintain processes, standards and framework governing the provision of information and the collection of the necessary data through the company\'s systems and also apply current governance processes
Critical Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience leading a team of non-management employees
  • Bilingualism (English and French, spoken and written)
  • High level of computer proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project)
Preferred Qualifications
  • High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and demonstrate a high level of judgment and maturity
  • Have a sense of organization, planning and the ability to handle stress well
  • Strong time management skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables
  • Knowledge of the wireless industry
Additional Requirements
  • Travel may be required
All Corporate Security employees must sign a confidentiality agreement and a supplement to the Company\'s Code of Business Conduct. This position is subject to a background check, which will be carried out prior to hiring, and the obligation to obtain the security clearance from the federal government.
