Responsibilities
Plan, direct, and coordinate the development, promotion, and sale of all IMS parts and services.
Manage leads, accounts, and customer relationships through all phases--from awareness and engagement to sales fulfillment, revenue collection, and retention.
Manage and optimize all marketing resources (website, branding, social media) to improve sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Develop, maintain, and report on the department budget. Review, analyze, and report on all sales and marketing data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Advise and liaise with the General Manager on market conditions, competitor activities, supply/demand trends, and economic indicators to maintain sales volume and optimized pricing.
Recruit, hire, manage, develop, coach, and motivate the Sales Representatives and Sales & Marketing Coordinator to ensure high professional standards and KPI achievement.
Work with the CEO and General Manager to support strategic direction and business development opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. (MBA is a plus).
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in B2B sales, specifically in industrial parts, equipment services, manufacturing, or a similar B2B technical field.
Demonstrated success managing the entire sales cycle, from initial lead generation and prospecting to contract negotiation, closing, and post-sale customer retention.
Exceptional skills in developing professional, targeted sales proposals and a strong track record of successful high-value contract negotiation.
Experience developing and executing integrated marketing plans that effectively leverage digital channels and traditional channels.
Strong analytical skills to measure the ROI of marketing campaigns and to translate metrics into actionable strategies.
Ability to audit and implement standardized, repeatable sales processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
Demonstrated success in mentoring, coaching, and managing a small sales team, with an emphasis on performance-based development and achieving defined KPIs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, specifically working with operations or finance teams to ensure sales commitments align with operational capacity and financial targets.
Additional Assets
Understanding of the steel industry, specifically with abrasion-resistant wear plate, castings and forged part fabrication, and ground-engaging tools (G.E.T) for heavy equipment
Knowledge of heavy equipment and operational challenges within the mining, industrial construction, forestry, and/or recycling industry.
