Position Summary:

As the digital space continues to grow, there is a need to support transformational projects and align further with MBC pursuits. The Manager, Sales Development position will be responsible for developing strategies and tools that directly benefit dealer sales and business processes and enhancing the digital framework. As well, the individual will develop training and sales tools to support Dealer Relationship Managers efforts in the network, act as primary point of contact for MBF Sales and Marketing for all enterprise initiatives, providing support for other business areas as needed. This will include working with the B2D and B2C product owners to align on MBFS dealer point-of sales and customer portal strategies with user needs and overall product vision. Additionally this position will require management and ownership of the Digital Training Platform.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage large-scale multi-faceted strategic projects for the advancement of the MBFS Digital Strategies, serving as the main point of contact between MBFS Sales & Marketing and ITM, Operations, MBC to ensure alignment on priorities and objectives.
  • Create detailed project plans and provide regular updates on time constraints and quality. Monitor and communicate project progress against plans and milestones, adjusting the approach when project feasibility is at risk. Evaluate project outcomes against goals or criteria. Project management and synchronization (e.g. meeting logistics, presentations, facilitation of workshops, budget/timelines, design, development, implementation, and stakeholder communication etc.).
  • Support the development of business cases based on cost/benefit analysis. Work with Product Owners, domain leadership, and EPMB to align enterprise investments with product vision.
  • Act as liaison to operational teams on behalf of Sales and Marketing, including issue resolution.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and development of the system provided by MB Canada. Expand the MBFS digital training footprint through creation of content that meets needs to dealers and DRM\'s. Work with internal Managers, US Training Department and Global Training to develop new tools and courses.
  • Lead the development and review of existing finance and lease programs. Work with Marketing and DRM teams to evaluate or create programs that support increased penetration for New & Used PC and Vans.
  • Support the organization and implementation of Sales Meetings, Dealer Meetings and other strategic events. Manage the dealer facing contests including development, approval, implementation, maintenance and vendor support.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  • Undergraduate degree with focus in Business Administration, Communications or Marketing is preferred.
  • 5 + years of progressive positions in captive finance industry.
Areas of Knowledge:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • General familiarity of business and vendor management.
  • Proficient credit, finance, management, sales and strategy expertise.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, analysis and PC skills.
  • Solid project management and presentation skills.
  • Strong Decision Making skills (particularly in ambiguous situations)
  • Propensity to integrate information from a variety of sources with varied levels of complexity.
  • Proven relationship management and Dealership sales process knowledge.
  • Ability to review, interpret, and evaluate statistical information.
  • Proven Self-management experience.
