Evaluate daily operations Plan and organize daily operations Manage staff and assign duties Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales Determine merchandise and services to be sold Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale Determine staffing requirements Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages Supervise office and volunteer staff Use sales forecasting software Review quotations Manage accounts receivable Manage difficult situations with customers Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms Professionalism in customer service Provide customer service Prepare price quotations Complete sales transactions Conduct sales calls Obtain price quotations from catalogues and suppliers Lead sales team in building relationships with business clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates
