The Manager, Retail Operations is a member of the Northern Health Business Development team, participates on the University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC) management team, and provides leadership in regard to business opportunities at UHNBC. The position is responsible for the operation of a Tim Horton\xe2\x80\x99s licensed operation located within the UHNBC cafeteria and for providing leadership, program planning and the supervision of quality retail operations to the patients/residents/staff of UHNBC.

The Manager, Retails Operations investigates all opportunities for Northern Health to implement meaningful and sustainable retail businesses within UHNBC.

The incumbent is also responsible for managing the long-term business interests at UHNBC and for participating in the region-wide Business Development program for NH.

Starting salary will be approximately from $80,935 to $101,168 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions

University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC) is the largest acute care facility (268 beds) in Northern Health and is the hub for specialized health services. It is a full service hospital and home to a new cancer centre for Northern BC, including a wide range of cancer treatments. Provides undergraduate physician training through the Northern Medical Program, run by the University of British Columbia and University of Northern British Columbia. UHNBC is also a key clinical education site for nursing and many health sciences students at UNBC, the College of New Caledonia, BCIT and other institutions.
