East Coast Credit Union is seeking a

Manager, Retail Administration.

The Manager, Retail Administration provides leadership, guidance, and operational oversight to the Assistant Managers and their teams, ensuring that all administrative tasks - from loan disbursements and adjustments to deposit processing and periodic reviews - are handled with integrity, professionalism, and in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The incumbent also supports reporting, data analysis, and continuous process improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.

You would...




Lead, mentor, and support Assistant Managers across Mortgage, Loan, and Deposit Administration to drive high performance, professional growth, and engagement. Oversee workforce planning, including scheduling and attendance, to ensure optimal staffing and operational coverage. Manage day-to-day operations across Mortgage, Loan, and Deposit Administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing of disbursements, account adjustments, audits, and documentation reviews. Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards. Serve as the escalation point for complex issues and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with internal departments. Provide backup support and lead departmental projects as needed. Partner with retail banking teams and other internal departments to deliver seamless administrative support. Act as a liaison between Administration, Business Services, Risk Management, and Compliance to facilitate efficient operations and mitigate risk. Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to maintain compliant procedures. Assist with internal and external audits, preparing documentation and supporting follow-ups. Oversee the preparation, accuracy, and timeliness of operational reports and data analysis. Monitor KPIs to ensure service standards are met and identify improvement opportunities. Present insights and trends to senior leadership and recommend solutions to address performance gaps or risks. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, branches, and external partners to support collaboration and shared success. Actively participate in community initiatives, events, and volunteer programs to promote the Credit Union's values and impact.

You have...




Successfully completed a bachelor's degree in business or commerce. Five years of relevant experience, including a minimum of two years supervisory experience, preferably in a financial institution; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. A Strong lending background with solid knowledge of credit, deposits, loan administration, and regulatory requirements.

A proven leader, experienced with a track record of managing high-performing teams. An excellent communicator with organizational and analytical skills.
