Title: Manager, Remediation & Reclamation

As the Manager, Remediation & Reclamation you will oversee the full lifecycle of environmental services including:
Role and Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to:
Team Leadership: Provide overarching direction and guidance to multidisciplinary teams by establishing a clear strategic vision, empowering individuals, and cultivating a collaborative, mentorship-driven culture that supports continuous growth and long-term success.
Project Oversight: Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of remediation and reclamation projects across various client portfolios, ensuring execution aligns with company standards and strategic goals.
Strategic Development: Support the design and implementation of comprehensive frameworks for project execution--including scope definition, scheduling, budget planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
Client & Stakeholder Relations: Act as the cornerstone of trust and communication - building strong partnerships with clients, regulators, and internal teams throughout the lifecycle of each project.
Regulatory Compliance: Oversee environmental compliance efforts, ensuring consistent adherence to applicable federal and provincial regulations and industry standards.
Risk Management: Evaluate potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to maintain timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Industry Influence: Represent H3M and our clients in industry working groups and strategic discussions - helping shape best practices and advancing sustainable progress.
Qualifications and skill:
Experience and Education
A Bachelor's degree or technical diploma relevant environmental sciences, engineering or project management.
10 + years experience in the environmental consulting or upstream oil and gas industry.
Broad knowledge and experience with the upstream oil and gas industry and environmental regulatory requirements
Professional designation is considered an asset (P.Eng, P.Geo, P.Ag or P.Biol)
Technical & Leadership Skills
Proven ability to lead, inspire and manage interdisciplinary teams.
Strong command of project controls - budgeting, scope, scheduling, QA/QC
Top-tier written and verbal communication skills.
Skilled in balancing independent initiative with team collaboration.
Conflict resolution and negotiation capabilities that create forward momentum.
Interpersonal Skills
