What will your typical day look like?

The successful candidate will Manage a team responsible for day-to-day operations of our real estate technologies across Canada including Audio/Visual systems, Video Conferencing, physical security systems, digital signage, and other collaboration tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team responsible for providing operational support of services related to Real Estate Infrastructure including but not limited to all audio-visual, videoconferencing, and physical security systems
  • Proactively monitor and manage audio-visual, videoconferencing, and physical security systems
  • Monitor the ticket queue to ensure service thresholds and priorities are maintained
  • Engage with 3rd party service providers as and when required to facilitate contracted work and or break/fix activities
  • Develop and maintain documentation on systems management and operational procedures
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies to maximize technology uptime and to elevate the end user experience
  • Produce monthly key performance indicator reports for supported technologies in meeting and collaboration spaces
  • Provide key inputs into designing and creating roadmaps for collaboration technologies
  • Assist in the installation, configuration and deployment of audio-visual, videoconferencing, and physical security solutions
  • Collaborate with other teams as required to create and maintain an environment that aligns with technology, real estate and talent strategic priorities and standards
  • Manage and document system configurations following ISO 27001 standards
  • Follow operational policies and processes that are compliant with ITIL standards
  • Participate in change control activities
  • Ensure the compliance to our security standards including patching compliance, hardening practices, and identity management controls across all systems that are owned by the Real Estate Infrastructure team
About the team

The Information Technology Services department of Deloitte is seeking to fill a Manager role in the Real Estate Infrastructure - The Operations team supporting our office technologies. This person will report to the Sr Manager of the Critical Infrastructure team and will work in a group setting alongside specialists in other infrastructure disciplines including networks, storage, virtualization etc.

  • The Strong leadership skills to be able to effectively lead a team with diversskill setsts in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Must be fully fluent in written and spoken English
  • Completed a post-secondary program, preferably in computer science or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years supporting audio-visual systems
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation with exrelationship-buildingp building abilities
  • Understanding of Audio/Visual systems including but not limited to Crestron, BiAMP, Poly, Microsoft, and Kandao
  • Strong experience with collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams and Zoom
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting incidents and performing root cause analysis
  • High degree of pro-active initiative, drive, self-motivation, ability to learn, responsiveness and good judgment
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks around changing priorities
  • Able to work effectively in a virtual team-based environment
  • Team player, able to work collaboratively at all levels of the organization and build partnerships with cross-functional teams spanning multiple services
  • Excellent communication, organizational, planning, influence, and follow-up skills
  • Excellent technical documentation skills
  • Professional attitude
  • Able to work overtime when required
NOTE: Travel is "minimal to no travel" for this position

Nice to have
  • ITIL certification
  • Fluency in French language
