Responsibilities
Responsible for safe and compliant operation of the facility
Responsible for capital budgeting and implementation for the site
Monitor and report the overall performance of the refinery versus plan
Budget production and costs for refinery
Revise and or approve SOP\'s for refinery
Incident investigation team leader
With HR support, determine and or administer discipline for site employees
Approve purchases for refinery supplies and support
Monitor H&S compliance for operations group
Assist in training as needed
Management Representative for ISO program
Involved in plant expansion and or de-bottle necking exercises
Other duties as required
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering highly preferred
10 + years alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Strong familiarity with refining operations and processes strongly preferred.
Ability to effectively manage a diverse work force
Excellent communication skills
Ability to develop and refine technical procedures
Desire to mentor and develop subordinates
Proficient at dealing with outside agencies
