Travel into our facilities including but not limited to Bradford, Jarvis, Markham, Brampton, or Toronto Ontario may be required and the frequency is subject to change depending on business needs.

It\'s grow time and we\'re looking for an ambitious professional to plant their roots with us as a Manager, Quality Control. In this role, you will report into the Director, Quality Operations and collaborate with our dynamic team to oversee our lab operations and stability program. You will operate in a hybrid dynamic and spend most of your time at one of our largest facilities in Canada, Bradford Ontario, to identify gaps, build processes and introduce innovative solutions to help us deliver the highest quality of products to our patients and consumers. As the Manager, Quality Control you will\xe2\x80\xa6.

  • Oversee analytical laboratory operations and review data being reported to the various internal clients
  • Manage the stability program and ensure ongoing enrolment aligns with corporate objectives
  • Lead a team of professionals to support corporate QC initiatives including, but not limited to, coaching, test/method evaluation for innovation, QC investigations, and on-going stability program
  • Identify potential issues with lab operations or stability program processes
and make changes as part of the continuous improvement cycle * Continually review quality control functions across the sites and ensure best practices are applied
  • Review and revise QC related standards, policies, and protocols to ensure consistent practices across all sites
  • Support any quality control related OOT/OOS investigations or audits (internal or external audits) as required
  • Develop plans for quality control improvements and strengthen reporting on KPIs
  • Provide guidance to the operational sites through employing risk-based decision making and strategies
  • Stay current with industry trends, standards, and expectations to be able to adopt best practices
  • Partner with other functional areas to establish and cultivate a strong quality culture at our facilities
You will be setup for success if you have\xe2\x80\xa6
  • A Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering, Science, Technical discipline, or related field along with advance MS Office skills (we would also welcome an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in a lab environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or consumer-packaged goods industry
  • 5 + years of experience in a leadership role building high-performing teams
