The Opportunity
Plannera is seeking a strategic and people-focused leader to play a key role in delivering exceptional pension services. Reporting to the Director of Pension Administration, this role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing team, drive innovation, and contribute to the organization's long-term success
As a leader in pension administration, you will:
Lead, support, and develop a high-performing team responsible for one of Canada's top pension plans
Drive innovation, ensuring policies and programs remain efficient, effective, and relevant to meet evolving needs of members and employers
Align team objectives with Plannera's strategic direction and the Public Employees Pension Board, ensuring operational success.
Manage, implement and design processes in a call center environment, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Oversee and manage the team's budget, ensuring responsible and strategic resource allocation.
Provide guidance on legislation, policies, and service directives, ensuring compliance and consistency.
Set clear performance expectations, track progress, and support the team in achieving key goals.
Collaborate closely with leadership and key stakeholders, strengthening partnerships across the organization.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a proven leader with:
A strong leadership presence--someone who builds and fosters a positive, high-performance culture while driving results.
A people-first approach--committed to accountability, inclusion, and employee development.
Excellent relationship-building skills--able to maintain positive connections with internal and external stakeholders.
Industry expertise--experience in customer service and/or pension administration, with a deep understanding of best practices.
Exceptional communication skills--able to clearly articulate complex topics and influence key decisions.
Typically, the knowledge and experience required to achieve the above is obtained through a combination of:
Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field.
Pension administration certification (an asset).
Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and coaching teams.
Experience in customer service, financial services, or pension administration.
