The Manager, Futures, Project Management (12 Month Contract) supports Holt Renfrew to efficiently delivery its future agenda and help prepare the organization to adopt future-focused change.
Providing project management services, specializing in the execution of strategic initiatives and capital investments, the role combines the highest level of collaboration, working alongside cross-functional stakeholders.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Manage projects from ideation to implementation through post-project performance tracking while applying project management methodologies, standards and practices
Create all project work plans, project charters, critical paths, and schedules
Drive accountability and progress of business teams to ensure key deliverables are completed on time, on budget, and within scope
Lead project and coordination meetings with applicable business teams
Prepare all project reporting on progress, budget forecast, risks, and results to the organization and Executive stakeholders
Provide onsite leadership support during implementation
Ensure seamless operational integration with existing and/or new store processes
Complete post-project evaluation and analysis to improve future project delivery
Support cross-functional strategic growth initiatives and associated organizational change.
Includes:
Liaise and coordinate with key stakeholders to create and execute applicable training prior to rollouts and re-training as needed
Manage the development and execution of communication strategies to support future growth projects in partnership with applicable Stakeholders
Post-project tracking and reporting of project results and key performance indicators
Work under the direction of Senior Manager, Futures, Project & Change Management on ad hoc requests
Continually improve process methods and best practices to support business objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
The ideal candidate:
Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience (i.e. Project Management, Change Management, Commerce, Economics, etc.)
PMP designation an asset
Strong project management skills, including demonstrated ability to think end-to-end and manage multiple priorities/projects simultaneously
5-7 years of post-university project management work experience
5+ years of experience in retail operations
3+ years in a supervisory or management role within a retail store business
Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills with the ability to get things done
Excellent interpersonal skills and team player with ability to also work independently effectively
Confident and effective communication (written & verbal)
Is adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change
Highly service-oriented with exceptional organizational and follow up skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Final compensation for this position will be determined based on the candidate's unique skills, expertise, individual qualifications, and assessed contributions to the role following the completion of the interview process.
