The RoleThe Manager, Payroll Services and Systems provides leadership and direction to the daily operations of Douglas College\'s in-house payroll services. The Manager ensures an accurate, reliable and stable delivery of a comprehensive range of services to the College. Key success factors include timely payment of wages for each constituent employee groups, timely and accurate remittance of all College payroll related obligations, including taxes and payments to third parties. The Manager, Payroll Services and Systems ensures superior client services to the College community.The Manager reports to the Associate Director, Payroll and Systems. Direct reports to the Manager are the Payroll Supervisor and a team of Payroll Specialists. The Manager monitors the performance of payroll activities which involves quality assurance, compliance verification and account reconciliation. Reporting responsibilities include provides analysis of payroll information which include confidential and sensitive subjects for decision making by College management.
