What you\xe2\x80\x99ll doReporting to the AVP of FP&A supporting our specialty banners of PartSource, Petroleum, Party City, Pro Hockey Life and Roadside, the Manager of PartSource, Petroleum and Roadside FP&A will play a lead finance role as partner to the business. If you thrive in an environment that works closely with the business to build robust financial plans and forecast, can clearly communicate business results to senior level management, and have a passion for driving the business further through analysis this role is for you.Lead and develop a team of analysts with a focus on business partnering to drive improved financial understanding and resultsAct as a trusted finance adviser to the business - partner with key stakeholders to support decision making with financial analysis, develop understanding of major financial performance drivers and assist business decision makers in the development of action plans to meet financial goals and mitigate risksCollaborate across the organization to ensure the financial impacts of key strategic initiatives are accurately reflected within our financial plans and forecastsBe a leader of change \xe2\x80\x93 challenging current approaches to the team\xe2\x80\x99s analysis and fostering new ways of approaching business questionsBring efficiencies to the reporting and forecasting and planning processesWhat you bringLeadership - Proven ability to develop individuals in support of their role/team specific priorities and our organizational cultureDrive - Results oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, maintaining attention to detail while retaining focus on the \xe2\x80\x9cbig picture\xe2\x80\x9d.Critical Thinking \xe2\x80\x93 Be able to think through business problems wholistically.Strong communication \xe2\x80\x93 Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization in a professional and competent manner.University degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or FinanceMinimum of 5 years business experience in an analytical field and solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements)Previous working experience with HFM and PeopleSoft is an assetCompletion of an accounting designation (CPA \xe2\x80\x93 CA, CMA, CGA), CFA, or MBA is an assetHybridAt Canadian Tire we work flexibility embracing \xe2\x80\x98Hybrid\xe2\x80\x99 whereby individuals utilize a combination of working at a CTC campus and or virtually in service of outcomes.
