Summary of Responsibilities



The Manager, Parts Distribution, will oversee the day-to-day operations of our main warehouse facility and manage relationships with two third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses. The person will have strong leadership skills, a proven track record in warehouse management, and a foundation with SAP EWM 9.5 and S/4HANA systems will be a strong asset. This role is also responsible for managing the warehouse budget, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with safety regulations, and alignment with company goals.





Key Duties and Responsibilities



Parts Distribution Operations & Oversight

Manage and oversee daily operations of the main warehouse, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy. Track and report on operational efficiency service level agreements. Ensure proper use and maintenance of all warehouse equipment and tools. Ensure compliance for all regulatory shipping requirements. Collaborate with logistics department for standardization and best practices.

E

nterprise Systems Management

Lead warehouse-related SAP operations including inventory transactions, stock movements, inbound/outbound logistics, and warehouse order management. Train and support warehouse staff on SAP best practices. Collaborate with IT and supply chain teams to optimize SAP workflows and resolve system issues.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of warehouse staff including supervisors, forklift operators, and inventory control specialists. Define individual staff performance goals, provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure that all staff certifications are always in good standing.

Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Management

Ensure the smooth coordination and performance of two 3PL warehouses, ensuring adherence to company standards, SLAs, and KPIs. Maintain productive relationships with warehouse partners. Monitor compliance with service agreements, quality standards, and cost targets. Regularly review performance metrics and lead improvement initiatives.

Budget & Financial Oversight

Prepare and manage the annual warehouse budget including labor, equipment, and overhead costs. Track and analyze budget variances and implement cost-saving initiatives. Collaborate with finance and operations to develop forecasts and financial reports related to warehouse operations.

Education Requirements and/or Experience Requirements



Degree/Diploma:

Bachelor's Degree

Program of Study:

Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field

Years of Experience:

7+ years of warehouse management

Skills and Abilities



Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics best practices, and inventory control methodologies. Functional ERP expertise (SAP preferred) Experience with Warehouse Management, Data Analytics, and Reporting (specific to ERP) Inventory Management Strong leadership and collaboration skills. Proven ability to manage and optimize budgets. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience managing vendors, contracts and 3PL partners. Very proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerBI Knowledge of SQL is considered an asset.
