As a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, the principal responsibilities of the MANAGER - Outpatient Mental Health and Addiction Services include: calling upon your sound judgment and strong leadership abilities to lead and develop a department focused on delivering quality patient care; building and maintaining a highly functional team; developing and managing fiscally responsible budgets; participating in strategic planning; assessment, implementation and evaluation of departmental activities; facilitating and promoting professional, personal development and educational activities for staff and patients and families; performing administrative functions; facilitating departmental meetings; ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff; maintaining liaison with patients and family members; resolving patient care issues and concerns; performing other duties consistent with the job classification, as required. Your experience leading change management initiatives will be critical to your success.
