Our Markham client is a large diversified real estate group with a mixed portfolio of holdings in Ontario. The team has recently grown and looking to hire a dynamic Manager of Property Accounting as they continue to build a first class Finance team. If you have experience in the real estate sector either commercial, retail or industrial this could be a fantastic next move.
The Manager of Property Accounting will be a strategic business partner reporting directly to the Director of Property Accounting. The candidate will be responsible for the overall accounting, planning & analysis, cash management, and banking functions of the Commercial Rental Portfolio. There will be a strong focus on reporting and data analysis to enhance the operational decision making process, provide information to various stakeholders, and support different functions/teams/departments within the organization. An ideal candidate would thrive in a dynamic team environment, takes pride in customer service, inclined towards data-driven decision making, disciplined in financial fundamentals, and is highly accountable to deadlines. In this role you will indirectly manage a team of 3 finance professionals, therefore leadership experience is a must have.

Job Requirements:
- CPA or other financial designation is a strong asset
- 5+ years experience in commercial real estate
- Yard is a strong asset
