About the role
We're seeking a
Manager of Programmatic & Emerging Media
to lead execution and strategy across programmatic display, video, CTV, audio, digital out-of-home, and other emerging channels. You'll also collaborate closely with our paid search and paid social teams to create high-performing, full-funnel campaigns. The ideal candidate brings deep DSP expertise, a curiosity for what's next in media and AI, and the confidence to lead accounts and cross-functional initiatives with clarity and purpose.
This role is perfect for a media professional excited about the intersection of programmatic advertising, automation, and new media formats--especially within a fast-paced, client-facing environment. You'll help shape the next chapter of paid media at Propellic by integrating emerging technologies and pushing for continuous improvement in both results and process.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy, Execution & Optimization
Plan, activate, and manage programmatic campaigns across platforms including StackAdapt, The Trade Desk, and DV360.
Lead buying across native, display, video, CTV, audio, and DOOH channels, leveraging both prospecting and retargeting strategies.
Apply channel-specific best practices and real-time performance data to continuously optimize toward client KPIs (CPM, CTR, CPA, ROAS, etc.).
AI & Workflow Automation
Use AI tools to support campaign buildouts, audience research, budget pacing, reporting automation, and creative testing.
Identify, test, and implement new AI technologies that improve delivery speed, accuracy, or scale.
Champion AI-powered process improvements across the paid media team.
Client Ownership & Leadership
Own relationships for assigned accounts, leading strategy, execution, insights, and performance discussions across media channels.
Lead cross-platform accountsthat include execution of paid search and programmatic campaigns, alongside social advertising
Translate client business goals into measurable paid media plans, and communicate progress with clarity and confidence.
Proactively identify opportunities to evolve clients' media approach using new formats, tools, or channel strategies.
Cross-Channel Integration
Lead full-funnel media efforts across programmatic, search, and social when managing cross-service accounts.
Collaborate closely with other internal teams (SEO, analytics, creative, strategy) to ensure consistent messaging and campaign alignment.
Contribute to integrated planning and cross-functional brainstorming sessions.
Creative Collaboration
Provide detailed creative briefs tailored to each platform and audience.
Partner with copy and design teams to deliver assets that meet both creative and performance standards.
Recommend and track creative tests to inform ongoing optimization.
Thought Leadership & Team Enablement
Serve as the team's subject-matter expert in programmatic, AI, and emerging media.
Share POVs on industry trends, platform innovations, and media best practices.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal documentation, training, and testing frameworks.
What Success Looks Like
+ 90% of campaigns meet or exceed performance targets across assigned accounts.
Clients express high satisfaction with paid media execution, strategy, and innovation ( 1 escalation per quarter).
AI and automation are used in 50% of campaign workflows, with at least 2 documented process improvements per quarter.
At least one new tactic, media test, or strategic recommendation is introduced per client per quarter.
Internal teams rely on you as a go-to expert for programmatic, CTV, and AI-enhanced media buying.
Creative, analytical, and client-facing work is delivered on time, with accuracy and strategic insight.
Qualifications
4-6 years of hands-on experience in programmatic media buying within DSPs such as StackAdapt, The Trade Desk, or DV360.
Strong working knowledge of emerging media environments like CTV, programmatic audio, DOOH, and shoppable media.
Experienced in analyzing and optimizing performance across a range of KPIs (CTR, ROAS, viewability, CPA).
Innovation-minded and eager to experiment with new platforms, formats, and AI tools to drive better results.
Experience in the travel, hospitality, or adjacent sectors is highly preferred, and a personal or professional passion for travel is essential, as many of our clients are globally recognized travel brands.
Comfortable with change and ambiguity -- you thrive in a fast-moving environment where learning is constant.
A collaborative partner who works well across departments and elevates the ideas of those around you.
A confident communicator who can distill complex performance data into actionable, strategic client recommendations.
Bonus: Background in the travel or tourism space, or certifications in StackAdapt, TTD, or Google Ads.
