Your responsibilities will include attracting new businesses, expanding regional opportunities, and bolstering existing local industries. You\'ll collaborate with government entities, investors, businesses, and community groups to secure sustainable growth, diversification, and job creation.Work Schedule:

• Hours: Vary based on projects and initiatives, 0.8 position.

• Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 annually (based on 30 hours week)

• Benefits: Includes four weeks of vacation, eight wellness days annually, a retirement savings plan, and reimbursed expenses.

Requirements:Qualifications:

• University degree in Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or Marketing. A combination of education and experience is considered.

• Certification of Economic Developer Designation or willingness to achieve it is an asset.

• 5-8 years of experience, preferably in a rural municipal setting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the public, staff, and government stakeholders.
