The Town of Osoyoos (Town) seeks an experienced Manager of Capital Projects and Infrastructure to join the Osoyoos team. Located in the southernmost area of the Okanagan Valley, the Town has a growing population of approximately 6,000. The Manager of Capital Projects and Infrastructure leads municipal infrastructure projects and provides strategic technical oversight related to water, sewer, stormwater, roads, buildings, parks and related infrastructure, and works collaboratively within the organization on the development, review and implementation of practices and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the department. In the absence of the Director of Operational Services, the Manager of Capital Projects and Infrastructure may perform the duties and functions of the Director as required. The preferred candidate will have:

A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related discipline from a recognized education institution (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Engineering Licensee (Eng.L.) with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia, or registered Applied Science Technologist (AScT), or eligibility for registration Minimum 7 years' experience in municipal infrastructure, project management and occupational health and safety including management of a unionized work force Minimum 2 years' experience in management of technical staff in a unionized environment. Project management training from a recognized educational institution would be considered an asset Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License
