  • This role is supported by a remote work arrangement anywhere across Canada.

What will you be doing in this role?
  • Facilitate the end-to-end business acquisition program - from targeting and valuation through to transfer/onboarding
  • Foster an atmosphere of accountability, creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develops and lives the vision to ensure everyone understands how they contribute to our shared success.
  • Identify the critical contacts and relationships to support the Continuum Financial Centres (CFC) and Financial Horizons goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with leaders and teams across the organization to ensure CFC strategy and capabilities are integrated as core to the Financial Horizons eco-system.
  • Cultivate new growth opportunities, including development of plans and propositions to turn opportunities into results.
  • Contributes to national business development strategy.
  • Represent the CFC directly on larger acquisitions and in exploration of new growth levers ensuring a consistent, high-quality story is shared, understood and delivered on.
  • Monitors, manages, and executes activities and tactics to support business goals, including design of activation campaigns, referral programs and other success enablers.
  • Drive toward a personal acquisition target plus the team\'s achievement of their target. Manage activity, oversee the pipeline and reinforce and shape process.
  • Embrace a problem-solving culture to unlock continuous improvement and improve velocity.
  • Educate and supports learning across the organization and specifically within regional sales teams on how to integrate CFC solutions. Also provide field feedback to CFC leadership through discussion/reporting and partner engagement.
  • Provide competitive intel on threats and challenges, providing an ongoing feedback loop.
What should your qualifications and experience look like?
  • 10+ years of experience associated with the role
  • Executive level presentation and relationship building skills, able to influence advisors, peers, and leaders
  • Deep knowledge of financial/insurance/wealth landscape and opportunities
  • Previous entrepreneur (owned their own businesses) or experience working in startup environment or organizations with an agile culture
  • Previous business consulting experience in any field
  • Experience in working with tenured advisors and understanding of succession needs of advisors
  • Experience in helping advisors build their business
  • Knowledge about book value/target client markets
  • Knowledge of advisor compliance requirements
  • Attitude that encourages new approaches, challenges the status quo and inspires creativity and risk-taking while protecting the core.
  • Attitude to thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment
  • College Diploma, University degree, or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in French and English a strong asset
