Position Summary: The Manager, Occupational Health Services is responsible for promoting employee health, wellness and safety to enable employees to attend to work. This includes conducting health surveillance programs, promoting illness/injury prevention and health education programs. In collaboration with leaders and professional peers, the incumbent has a key role in disability management, infection control, environmental safety and health, workplace hazards detection and development of workplace health strategies. The Manager, Occupational Health Services is accountable for the Occupational Health Services team, and for the quality and delivery of Occupational Health Services. They report to the Senior Manager, Human Resource Services, and clinically collaborate with other workplace leaders. They follow regional, national and professional standards and best practices.
