This position will lead the Network Planning & Carrier Relations team and report to the Director, Network Planning & Profitability. The Manager will have responsibility for Network Planning solutions of third-party services (both Voice and Data products), governed by Distributel\xe2\x80\x99s goal of achieving high quality, timely and cost-effective network services. This includes; fostering good relationships and arrangements with the third-party telecom suppliers, capacity management, network optimization and provisioning of third-party network services. In addition, the Manager will be responsible for the tracking, reporting and forecasting of COS financial and operational data.

HERE\xe2\x80\x99S SOME MORE OF WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL BE DOING:

• Hold overall responsibility for all aspects of the third-party Carrier services.
• Prepare Network Planning solutions for third party services that are efficient, robust and cost effective.
• Work closely with Network Engineering and Operations to ensure cost-effective provisioning of services to meet Distributel\xe2\x80\x99s general network requirements and the specific needs of the Marketing and Sales organizations.
• With the Director, Network Planning & Profitability, foster a positive and beneficial account relationship with Distributel\xe2\x80\x99s telecom service suppliers. Actively monitor compliance by both sides with contractual commitments and initiate measures to address non-compliance.
• Assist Distributel\xe2\x80\x99s Sales and Marketing organizations in optimizing strategies and campaigns by providing timely information, analysis, insights and recommendations informed by actual and forecasted demand, churn, costs, incentives, and other data.
• Responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting financial information and other information related to cost of sales.
• Direct day-to-day carrier costing operation and activities, including supplier order management, account reconciliation and cost management, with a focus on control and optimization of cost of sales and assurance of revenue and gross profit. Coordinate with other departments to ensure standards, policies, and procedures are created and available for the carrier relations team and facilitate effective communication and efficient resource deployment within the team.
• Responsible for overall management of supplier contracts, including tracking, reporting and renewal communication.

This role requires a flexible candidate who is able to work well in a collaborative environment with minimal supervision and who prides themselves in their attention to detail. Excellent analytical skills are an absolute must for this position.

Your Education and Experience

• At least 5+ years of experience working in the telecommunications industry with experience in network planning & similar positions with increasing responsibility.
• Certificate, diploma, or degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field considered an asset.
• Proficiency in using Excel and Access Databases.
