Role:





This leadership position is responsible for the overall management and success of Sysco
Canada\xe2\x80\x99s Synergy Tech Suite system and partnership with Mealsuite, our technology experts.


Synergy Tech Suite has been supporting the continuum of care for Sysco Canada\xe2\x80\x99s Healthcare and Senior Living customers for over 25 years through its revolutionary fully integrated technology.




Role Responsibilities:





  • Manage day to day relationship with Technology Partner (MealSuite)
  • Lead Sysco healthcare teams in growing synergy sales, improving customer success and increasing market share of the program in Canada.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for Sysco\xe2\x80\x99s investment in Synergy Technology
  • Work with technology partner (Mealsuite) in providing sales, marketing and technical support to our valued customers
  • Oversee Sysco\xe2\x80\x99s contractual Synergy agreements with Mealsuite and customers
  • Manage billing process between Mealsuite, Sysco and customer
  • Responsible for Synergy marketing strategy. Lead Mealsuite\xe2\x80\x99s Marketing team as well as
  • Sysco\xe2\x80\x99s marketing team to execute sales and marketing plan.
  • Work collaboratively nutrition services team and MealSuite on future system development of Synergy to ensure it continues to meet and exceed the needs of our Canadian Healthcare and Senior Living customers.
  • Responsible for ensuring all Sysco team members receive synergy training, marketing materials and other synergy resources as needed
  • Complies with Sysco\xe2\x80\x99s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
  • Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
  • Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.





Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you):





  • 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the healthcare food service industry
  • 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with healthcare systems
  • 2 years sales experience, sales management experience is an asset
  • A post-secondary education in Nutrition/Human Ecology/Food Sciences and/or Food Administration/Food Service and Hospitality
  • Registered Dietitian is an asset.
  • Must have high level of organizational and time management skills.
  • The successful candidate will be energetic, responsive, decisive, and must possess a good knowledge of the foodservice industry.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills (verbal, written, presentations).
  • Strong relationship management skills to establish trust and credibility with associates, business leaders, and subject matter experts, getting results with and through others without formal authority.
  • Strong evaluation capabilities: to interpret business needs and recommend effective solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Ability to implement change management strategies using consultation, facilitation, negotiation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to meet competing, challenging, and changing priorities in a short time period.
  • Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with access to a vehicle may be required as there will be travel up to 20%.
