We're looking for a dynamic

Manager of Mid-Market New Business

to lead our underwriting efforts in one of the most exciting and competitive segments of our business. This is your opportunity to shape the future of our Mid-Market portfolio and make a measurable impact on our success.

What You'll Do:

Lead a team

of talented underwriters focused on new business opportunities in the Group Life and Health Mid-Market segment.

Drive strategy

and execution to win profitable new business while maintaining pricing discipline and risk management.

Collaborate cross-functionally

with Business Development, Product, and Pricing teams to develop competitive, market-aligned solutions.

Coach and mentor

underwriters to elevate performance, decision-making, and engagement.

Analyze trends

and provide insights to inform pricing strategies and underwriting guidelines.

Champion innovation

by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the new business experience.

What You Bring:

An intensely competitive spirit and strong desire to win in the marketplace. Proven leadership experience or a strong desire to step into a leadership role. An ability to think outside the box, be solution-oriented, and make good business decisions. Strong financial acumen Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (fluent in French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only as the position will regularly serve our clients with French and English-speaking needs.

The base salary for this position is between

$76,400.00

- $141,400.00

annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
