About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Mental Health and Addictions, the Recovery Support Centres (RSC) and Opioid Use Disorder Treatment (OUDT) Program Manager monitors service delivery for the MHA RSC and OUDT program on a day-to-day basis to ensure service provision is in accordance with Nova Scotia Health's policies and procedures and is compliant with evidence-based practice, provincial standards and accreditation requirements. This position is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, supervising and evaluating the RSC and OUDT program. The Manager collaborates with Mental Health and Addictions' staff and managers, other departments, care providers and stakeholder agencies, patients, and families to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of quality services. Demonstrating a commitment to continuous quality improvement, vision, leadership and strategic thinking, the Manager exhibits sound professional judgment and initiative while working within the framework and objectives of the Mental Health & Addictions' Program and NSH's Vision, Mission, Values and Strategic Directions.
