Your Opportunity:Alberta Health Services (AHS) is currently seeking a passionate leader to guide the South Zone\'s Physiotherapy (PT) team to deliver services in the East part of the zone. This position supports Medicine Hat Regional Hospital acute care, Medicine Hat and surrounding community, and Outpatient Physiotherapy services to adults. This is a key leadership role that supports this team in developing and guiding evidence informed practice, planning for future demands and changes, while managing program funds. The ideal candidate will have experience providing Physiotherapy in all sectors of care, program management and development, strategic planning, quality improvement and other leadership responsibilities, while seeking to grow their career by providing direction, leadership and evaluation of the Physiotherapy service across the East side of the South Zone. This position is accountable for key decisions while ensuring efficient and effective patient and client-focused service delivery, while maintaining and building partnerships with a large number of stakeholders. The ideal candidate\'s skillset includes business planning, budget management, and communication to foster program excellence. This position is based out of the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. This position provides clinical guidance for Physiotherapists and Therapy Assistants and assures the provision of high-quality clinical services that promote a high level of client satisfaction. This is facilitated as a delegated act through the selection, performance management and continuing education of employees, clinical supervision, administrative duties, service coordination and ensuring program services are provided and evaluated in accordance with professional standards of practice.

Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years\' experience in Physiotherapy or similar field. Minimum of 5 years\' experience in a progressive leadership role, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Demonstrated pattern of professional and personal development, preferably related to healthcare leadership. Master\'s Degree in Physiotherapy required, but equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. Active College of Physiotherapists of Alberta registration required.

Preferred Qualifications:Master\'s Degree, Bachelor\'s Degree or other post-secondary education preferred.
