As Manager of manufacturing engineering, you will be responsible of implementing the transversal manufacturing strategy. You will act on how products are built, technologies used, and manufacturing flow to ensure optimal manufacturing performance.
As Manager of manufacturing engineering, your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead a group of engineering graduates and technical specialists
  • Identify, select and introduce new manufacturing technologies
  • Optimize end-to-end product manufacturing (yield of existing products and new product introduction)
  • Optimize flows, layout, and workstations.
  • Ensure that capital investments are completed on schedule and within budget.
How to excel in this role:
  • Detain a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or other engineering discipline, additional degree in administration or other field an asset
  • Possess 5 to 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering team management
  • Proven experience in organizing, motivating, and training teams
  • Experience in optimizing manufacturing processes and procedures in electronics and/or aerospace manufacturing.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification an asset
