We invite you to be part of our evolution.The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a Manager, Labour Relations- Canada & UK to join the HR Management relations & Engagement Department to be based in Toronto. This role is responsible for the development and deployment of overall operational labour relations strategy, controls and structure in North Atlantic Operations. As the regional Labour Relations SME, this role will develop and implement the necessary structure required to systematically manage labour relations strategy and risk across North Atlantic Operations including collective bargaining strategy and execution, subject matter expert and counsel to HR Managers and Regional Operational Heads, and development of professional capacity within each of the NA operationsAdditionally, in this position you will:

• Delivery of collective agreement renewals that are within mandate and free of labour disruptions
• Business owner for labour arbitration risk
• Develop, coordinate and monitor strategic labour relations activities across NA region, including providing feedback, mentoring, coaching and advising Regional Operations Heads, Regional HR Managers and NA Directors on trends and opportunities for improvement whilst maintaining alignment with overarching labour relations and business strategy
• Develop and deploy LR strategy, processes and supporting tools to improve risk management and expand business capacity
• Lead modernization, integration and standardization of labour relations

About YouEducation:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree.

Experience:

• Minimum 11-15 years of relevant experience

Skills:

• Demonstrated advanced knowledge and experience in leading complex collective bargaining, collective agreement interpretation, labour law, dispute resolution process.
• Leadership, people & stakeholder management (mentoring, managing, influencing others)
• Strong Work & Business Management Skills (resource, planning & work prioritization management, results focused)
• Operations Experience; Balanced Functional Knowledge in operations, human resources and labour relations processes
