This role encompasses a broad range of activities, from policy development and risk management to incident response and compliance oversight. How YOU will make a difference:
  • Information Security Strategy
  • Strategically develop, implement, and maintain a robust information security strategy, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
  • Regularly assess and adapt the strategy to respond to new threats and technological changes, ensuring continuous improvement of security posture.
  • Team Leadership and Management
  • Provide dynamic leadership to the information security team, fostering an environment of growth, learning, and operational excellence.
  • Manage all aspects of the team\'s operations, including recruitment, training, performance management, and team-building activities.
  • Policy Development and Compliance
  • Draft, implement, and enforce comprehensive security policies, standards, and guidelines across the organization.
  • Oversee compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations related to information security.
  • Risk Management and Incident Response
  • Lead risk assessment processes, identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain an efficient incident response plan, coordinating quick and effective actions in the event of a security breach.
  • Technology Management
  • Supervise the selection, implementation, and maintenance of security technologies and infrastructure.
  • Stay abreast of emerging security threats and technologies, recommending enhancements to the organization\'s security architecture.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external security vendors, ensuring access to cutting-edge solutions and services.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executive management, to align security initiatives with broader business objectives
What YOU bring to the role:
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in information security, with a focus on strategy, policy development, and team management.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with a preference for advanced degrees or specialized training.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Technical Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of information security frameworks, incident response, and risk management methodologies.
