Temporary position for 12 months
As part of the Desjardins Group Monitoring Office, your team's mandate is to work with the first lines of defence to contribute to audit and support activities for IT initiatives. Your team provides the organization with assurance regarding the level of operational control, preserves and enhances operational control, and creates added value. As Manager, IT Monitoring, you lead a team of about 10 internal auditors dedicated to the tech sector. Your extensive IT experience, combined with your positive leadership skills, strategic mindset and communication skills will bring added value to this role. You draw on your ability to develop talent and drive results to effectively manage employees and performance. More specifically, you will be required to :
Help your director organize work and plan IT monitoring activities.
Develop and carry out the activity monitoring plan for IT, security and data functions using a risk-based approach that's in line with Desjardins Group's strategic issues and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Advise your team's professionals on defining special and monitoring mandates, risks to address, techniques and internal audit approaches.
Deliver quality files and reports to build trust with regulators.
Build and maintain a multidisciplinary internal audit team in specialized areas within Desjardins Group that can take credible action on files in their areas of responsibility.
Maintain the independence and credibility of the Desjardins Group Monitoring Office by ensuring the professional quality of actions taken and providing added value to target clients.
Establish management and communication practices that support change management, skills development, employee engagement and diversity, in keeping with Desjardins's values.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in IT, computer engineering or another related field
A minimum of nine years of relevant IT experience, including three years in management
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Experience in conducting solution diagnostics, and developing and implementing recommendations
Experience in modernizing systems and digital transformation initiatives or improving IT operational efficiency in the financial institution sector or in a large-scale organization
Experience as an integrator for IT solutions, IT project management, architecture in various IT domains, digital marketing solutions, user experience (UX), business or digital strategy
Knowledge of French is required
Proficiency with security standards (NIST, ISO 2700x, etc.) and processes for security management and operationalization
Knowledge of IT and information security Action oriented, Customer Focus, Decision quality, Develops talent, Differences, Drive results, Engagement, Nimble learning, Plans and aligns, Teams, Vision and purpose
