Job Summary



What is the opportunity?

As Manager, Investor Relations you will help develop and execute IR\xe2\x80\x99s overall marketing and corporate access strategy, including investor targeting, shareholder analysis, and scheduling, coordinating; act as the team\xe2\x80\x99s \xe2\x80\x9cbusiness manager\xe2\x80\x9d which includes: maintain databases, distribution lists, website and disclosure documents; and carry out assignments related to questions/information requests from both external and internal stakeholders. Involves collaborating with internal partners, applying judgement and problem-solving.

What will you do?

Corporate Access and Business Manager

  • Plan, recommend and set direction for Investor Relations\xe2\x80\x99 overall equity marketing and corporate access strategy, including investor targeting
  • Manage all aspects of investor interactions, including creating investor profiles, schedule coordination, and all logistics for virtual and in-person investor marketing roadshows.
  • Detailed tracking of all interactions and using excel to analyze our shareholder base to identify recent trends and future opportunities as part of monthly report to Group Executive
  • Manage the preparation for investor events, roadshows and conferences (presentations, speeches and other related research).
  • Manage team coordination including leading scheduling of IR/Investor Meetings with senior executives, confirming quarterly call details, IR calendar
  • Lead ongoing development, and act as a key point of contact for upkeep of the external IR website, in addition to manage the various internal and external stakeholders
  • Help manage the rating agency plan updates and annual rating agency review process (scheduling, refreshments, materials/binders, etc).
  • Manage Investor Relations external inbox
Financial and Market Analysis
  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly insights and analysis on sell-side equity research, industry news and market and economic trends, and share insights with Group Executive.
  • Manage internal and external assignments and requests for information (e.g. RBC data and statistics, Bloomberg data analysis).
  • Identify key trends through summarizing & benchmarking Canadian and U.S. bank earnings and conferences.
  • Work with colleagues in across the bank and assist in the quarterly reporting process and on an ad hoc basis.
What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Highly organized, proactive and committed to quality and accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with comfort reviewing complex documentation
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness and curiosity, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, high performance environment with multiple and evolving demands, and non-standard working hours
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and/ or broader capital markets
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet and CRM tools
  • Project management skills
