Job Description

Aetna Pest Control is privately held Canadian owned business which has been providing pest control services in the GTA market for more than 50 years. Aetna provides a broad range of pest control services, including termite treatments, to both residential and commercial customers. The company is entering into a major growth phase backed by superior technology the Sentricon(TM) System in termite control. With one of the two co-owners now stepping back from the business, the need has recently arisen to recruit a Manager Internal Operations. This is a new position which will serve as an integral link between the operating company and the co-owners.

Reporting directly to the co-owners, the Manager Internal Operations will lead the way of improving and maintaining efficient support functions for the company. Responsibilities include:

Manage the Customer Service function supervising internal reps. Oversee all administrative functions. Support internal direct marketing programs to established/new customers. Act as key liaison to outside customers/stakeholders/municipalities. Work collaboratively with the team of field reps who handle service calls. Manage Human Resource functions. Keep the co-owners up to date, as needed. on support activities,

Ideal Qualifications



15 years of prior work experience in a fast-paced small business environment, preferably in pest control or a directly related industry, such as construction and/or residential renovations. Strong computer/IT skills supporting customer data base, scheduling and reporting. Post secondary education preferably in business, administration or project management. Demonstrated ability to learn and continually evolve with the position. Take charge management style with the ability to hold people accountable balanced by the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self- starter, highly organized and productive with attention to detail and the ability to multitask within a small business environment, rolling up his or her sleeves to get the job done.
This position is in the company's main office located in Toronto. A personal vehicle is not required as the office is easily accessible by public transit.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
