Rise Air is looking for a Manager, Information Technology Systems to join our team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Under the guidance of the Director, Systems and IT, this position is responsible for the oversight and function of the company's IT and software requirements across all bases and locations.
What You Will Do:
Lead and manage the IT team, providing mentorship and performance evaluations to create a high-performing IT team.
Plan, execute, and close projects on time and within budget, maintaining accurate documentation and coordinating communication with stakeholders.
Develop and implement IT strategies that are aligned with business goals, primarily long-term software planning.
Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and support strategic business initiatives.
Analyze workflows, identify opportunities for digital improvement, and lead technology adoption initiatives, including conducting workshops and presentations.
Monitor and mitigate security risks and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Oversee IT budgets, vendor contracts and cost optimizations throughout the tech stack of the business.
Establish IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to aid the organization with overall compliance.
Establish and monitor IT performance metrics and service level agreements to ensure continuous improvement and accountability.
Design, build, and maintain the foundational infrastructure required for a business intelligence environment, including the creation and management of a data lake and integration solutions to support advanced analytics and reporting capabilities.
Your Qualifications:
A Class 5 Driver's License is required.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related field (a combination of education, training and relevant experience may be considered).
8-10 years experience in IT with at least 3 years in a management or similar role.
Experience developing, testing, and implementing IT standards, policies, and procedures in a complex, distributed organization.
Experience in the aviation sector is considered an asset.
