Reporting to Manager, HR Functional and Data Architect, this position would co-own the overall systems integrations and development of new solutions through successful delivery of changes to the Human Capital Management system.

  • Coordinate and develop the business requirements for new system development and obtain high level estimate from service providers.
  • Work with business owner to develop the business case (AFC, Project Statement) and obtain appropriate approvals.
  • Ensure any solution is cohesive with the HR technology ecosystems, long-term vision and design. Document and communicate process changes to all appropriate groups.
  • Participating in management reviews of issues to assist in providing input on business impacts.
  • Preparing RFP documents for projects and participate in the RFP/Vendor selection processes.
  • Assuming general knowledge expertise for all other spheres as required (time, talent, HR, payroll, reporting functions, etc…)
  • Maintain business processes and relevent data mappings
  • Look at opportunities to enhance HR experiences and, along with the Manager, HR Functional and Data Architect and other relevant stakeholders, define system solutions.
  • Manage testing, delivery and implementation for all projects and programs with direct business outcomes. Provide status updates to IT and business stakeholders, manage issues, and mitigate risks
  • Maintain a healthy work environment including development of personal growth opportunities, coaching, counseling, and mentoring for reporting employees and other team members
  • Collaborate with the HR Data, HR Analytics, HR Solutions team on various operational activities and/or projects
Qualifications

Must have strong customer and operational focus and ability to build positive relationships with internal clients and 3rd party providers. Good understanding of the HR ecosystems, and the impact on business.

  • 7-10 years of IT technology or HR experience in a large company. Work experience in the HR systems environment would be an asset.

  • CHRA or an equivalent certification would be an asset.

  • A relevant University degree/technical certification, and/or relevant experience commensurate to the role

  • Excellent analytical skills, inquisitive with the ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency with Oracle HRIS application and knowledge of multiple functionalities.

  • Experience in Airport and Airline Operations, and knowledge of user population an asset.

  • Ability to develop, monitor, validate, adjust or apply standards, procedures and principles.

  • Capability to apply attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage time and competing priorities.

  • Must be a team player with ability to work closely with diverse groups and working styles

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships
