Position Summary
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for student success and academic program management? The Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy (JSGS) at the University of Regina is looking for a dynamic Manager of Graduate Programs to provide expert oversight and drive innovation.
The Manager, Graduate Programs, provides expert strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of managing the in-person graduate programs of the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy (JSGS) at the University of Regina (URegina) campus.
Reporting to the JSGS-Regina campus Faculty Administrator, the Manager is a leader and integral member of the Student Success Team, providing oversight of and expertise in all aspects of planning for and implementation of the School's in-person graduate programs and student services and support. The Manager participates in the development and leads the execution of programming initiatives and tracking of related metrics, ensuring alignment with JSGS strategic vision and goals and provides guidance on short- and long-term planning by identifying opportunities for program innovation and improvement.
The Manager mentors the JSGS Administrative Assistant-Student Services and works closely with the Student Recruitment and Events Coordinator to manage admissions and enrollment processes. This position collaborates with senior student services staff to solve emerging challenges and lead initiatives that benefit the JSGS community. The role requires managing complex processes, making discretionary decisions, and maintaining accuracy under shifting priorities. The Manager must be knowledgeable in FGSR regulations and student operations at both University of Regina and University of Saskatchewan as JSGS operates as one school on two campuses.
