SUMMARY OF THE POSITION :

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Manager Go To Market is Responsible for managing the go-to-market strategy, process and execution of the new product launch. Due to their intimate knowledge of Cogeco customers, that person creates the value proposition that resonates with our target segments and differentiates with the competition. The Manager Go To Market also ensures the product delivery aligns with the desired experience and how to promote it to Cogeco customers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for managing the go-to-market strategy, process and execution of the new product launch

Be an expert of Cogeco customers - know their composition (demographic) and needs (psychographic, segmentation) at the market level - region and city

Identify target needs by segments and markets - both the \xe2\x80\x9cneed to have\xe2\x80\x9d and the differentiators.

If need be, launch surveys and/or focus groups to get customer feedback

Define the value proposition and how new products differentiate vs competition

Define product catalog to address cx needs (Referral, Roaming) and create the marketing requirements for new products

Create a dashboard to facilitate tracking of all marketing activities (pricing, advertising, channel readiness) linked to market launch of wireless

Regularly follows up on action items and deliverables with marketing peers and cross functional team

Ensure scope and timelines for go to market activities are respected, and bring the cross-functional team together when issues arise to find the right solution.

Escalate issues regarding timelines or scope delivery to the PMO and Marketing director when needed

Validate key positioning of new products by markets

Be the voice of customers by actively participate and influence customer journey (LBGUPS)

Accountable for UAT & approvals related to product delivery (product marketing)

Create quarterly marketing plan when needed

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth launch operations.

REQUIREMENTS

ACADEMIC TRAINING

Post secondary degree in marketing, finance

WORK EXPERIENCE

8-10 years marketing, consulting or agency experience

People management experience

Experience in subscription based industry - communication, banking or insurance for instance

SPECIFIC SKILLS

Hands on marketing knowledge built over the years

A team player, able to build consensus - someone easy to collaborate with, but driven to deliver. An iron fist in a velvet glove

A curious mind,

An entrepreneur - if something needs to get done, figure out how to get it done

An independent person able to work under minimal supervision

Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with different timelines

Ability to figure out what is important from what can wait and prioritize accordingly

Familiar with the google/microsoft suite of products (excel, word, powerpoint)

Fluent in English, French fluency is considered as an asset. The incumbent will collaborate with stakeholders across functional business units.

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILIT\xc3\x89S

Responsable de la gestion de la strat\xc3\xa9gie go-to-market, du processus et de l\'ex\xc3\xa9cution du lancement de nouveau produit.

\xc3\x8atre un expert des clients de Cogeco - conna\xc3\xaetre leur composition (d\xc3\xa9mographique) et leurs besoins (psychographique, segmentation) au niveau du march\xc3\xa9, r\xc3\xa9gion et ville.

Identifier les besoins cibles par segment et par march\xc3\xa9, \xc3\xa0 la fois le "besoin d\'avoir" et les diff\xc3\xa9rentiateurs.

Le cas \xc3\xa9ch\xc3\xa9ant, lancer des enqu\xc3\xaates et/ou des groupes de discussion pour obtenir le feedback des clients.

D\xc3\xa9finir la proposition de valeur et la mani\xc3\xa8re dont les nouveaux produits se diff\xc3\xa9rencient de la concurrence.

D\xc3\xa9finir le catalogue de produits pour r\xc3\xa9pondre aux besoins des clients (recommandation, itin\xc3\xa9rance) et cr\xc3\xa9er les exigences marketing pour les nouveaux produits.

Cr\xc3\xa9er un tableau de bord pour faciliter le suivi de toutes les activit\xc3\xa9s de marketing (tarification, publicit\xc3\xa9, pr\xc3\xa9paration des canaux) li\xc3\xa9es au lancement des produits sans fil sur le march\xc3\xa9.

Assurer un suivi r\xc3\xa9gulier des actions et des r\xc3\xa9sultats avec les pairs du marketing et l\'\xc3\xa9quipe interfonctionnelle.

Veiller \xc3\xa0 ce que le champ d\'application et les d\xc3\xa9lais des activit\xc3\xa9s de mise sur le march\xc3\xa9 soient respect\xc3\xa9s et r\xc3\xa9unir l\'\xc3\xa9quipe interfonctionnelle lorsque des probl\xc3\xa8mes se posent afin de trouver la bonne solution.

Faire remonter au PMO et au directeur du marketing les probl\xc3\xa8mes li\xc3\xa9s aux d\xc3\xa9lais ou \xc3\xa0 la port\xc3\xa9e de la livraison, le cas \xc3\xa9ch\xc3\xa9ant.

Valider le positionnement cl\xc3\xa9 des nouveaux produits par march\xc3\xa9

\xc3\x8atre la voix des clients en participant activement et en influen\xc3\xa7ant le parcours client (LBGUPS)

Assurer la responsabilit\xc3\xa9 de l\'UAT et des approbations li\xc3\xa9es \xc3\xa0 la livraison des produits (produit marketing).

Cr\xc3\xa9er un plan marketing trimestriel si n\xc3\xa9cessaire

Travailler avec des \xc3\xa9quipes interfonctionnelles pour assurer le bon d\xc3\xa9roulement des op\xc3\xa9rations de lancement.
