Personnel :

Repondre aux demandes des clients et des autorites fiscales.

Valeur :

Gerer et surveiller tous les aspects du cycle annuel de l'impot foncier pour les portefeuilles immobiliers attribues.

Faire preuve d'une connaissance approfondie des techniques d'evaluation et de revision des evaluations.

Preparer et realiser des presentations pour les clients.

Assister aux audiences, aux conferences de reglement et aux negociations, jusqu'au reglement.

Gerer la preparation, l'examen et le traitement de toutes les exigences en matiere de rapports aux clients.

Agir en tant qu'expert en la matiere dans la gestion de tous les aspects du processus d'appel (informel, formel et contentieux) et rendre compte de l'etat d'avancement et des resultats au client.

Servir de contact principal pour superviser toutes les activites des clients et repondre aux demandes des clients et des autorites d'evaluation.

Examine et gere les conditions contractuelles des clients, l'etendue des services et les honoraires.

Supervise la facturation des clients et veille au recouvrement rapide des creances (moins de 90 jours).

Veille a ce que l'equipe respecte les politiques, les directives pratiques et les normes du cabinet.

Fournit en temps utile des commentaires sur les performances aux membres de l'equipe, traite les problemes de performance et les escalade.

Veille a ce que la charge de travail soit correctement repartie entre les membres de l'equipe et tient les membres de l'equipe responsables de la realisation des projets qui leur sont confies.

Communique les nouveaux enjeux, les changements legislatifs, les possibilites de formation, ainsi que les besoins et les strategies des clients.

Participe activement a des organisations professionnelles.



Formation et experience :

Diplome universitaire, diplome collegial ou equivalent en comptabilite, finance, administration des affaires, economie, immobilier, gestion d'entreprise ou autre diplome avec MBA, MST ou JD requis et au moins quatre ans d'experience dans le domaine de l'impot foncier requis. Les candidats possedant des titres appropries en matiere d'evaluation sont preferes.

Capacite averee a diriger, a resoudre des problemes et a communiquer efficacement a l'oral et a l'ecrit.

Capacite a hierarchiser les taches, a travailler sur plusieurs missions et a gerer l'ambiguite.

Capacite a travailler de maniere autonome et en equipe avec des professionnels de tous niveaux.



Competences informatiques :

Pour mener a bien cette mission, le candidat doit avoir une connaissance intermediaire de Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, ainsi que de la navigation et de la recherche sur Internet.

Certificats et licences :

Permis de conduire valide requis. Le responsable doit conserver des titres professionnels tels que Certified Member of the Institute (CMI) et Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), ou equivalents, et rester actif au sein d'organisations professionnelles au niveau local et national.

Responsabilites de supervision :

Ce poste supervise directement les employes du service de fiscalite immobiliere et exerce des responsabilites de supervision conformement aux politiques du cabinet et aux lois applicables.

The Property Tax Manager ("Manager") oversees a team of Senior Consultants/Consultants to deliver property tax consulting services for assigned clients. The Manager maintains existing client relationships and focuses on property tax management and minimization opportunities. The Manager reviews and evaluates appeal positions, makes appeal recommendations and manages the appeal process for Ryan clients. This includes enforcing policies, standards and guidelines, researching tax issues, reviewing valuations of real property, negotiating assessment reduction and settlements, and the preparation and presentation of assessment appeals and supporting litigation. The Manager is responsible for creating positive team member experiences, which lead to excellent client service and drive revenue and profit for the Firm. The ideal candidate with have analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong people skills. The successful candidate will be effective in researching issues, reconciling databases, and completing detailed calculations. Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan's Key Results
People:Create a positive team member experience.

Client:Responds to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.

Value:Manages and monitors all aspects of the annual property tax cycle for assigned real property portfolios. Demonstrates extensive knowledge in assessment review and valuation techniques. Prepares and conducts client presentations. Attends hearings, settlement conferences, and negotiations, through settlement. Manages the preparation, review, and processing of all client reporting requirements. Acts as jurisdictional subject matter expert in managing all aspects of the appeal process (informal, formal, and litigation) and reports engagement status and results to the client. Serves as the main contact overseeing all client activity and responds to client inquiries and requests from assessing jurisdictions. Reviews and manages client contract terms, scope of services and fees. Oversees client billing and ensures timely collection of receivables (less than 90 days). Ensures team compliance with Firm policies, practice guidelines, and standards. Gives timely performance feedback to team members and addresses and escalates performance issues. Ensures workload is properly distributed among team members and holds team members accountable for completion of assigned projects. Communicates new issues, legislative changes, training opportunities, and client needs and strategies. Participates actively in professional organizations.

Education and Experience:University Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Real Estate, Business Management or other degree with MBA, MST or JD required and at least four years property tax related experience required. Candidates with appropriate valuation designations preferred. Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver's license required. Manager should maintain professional designations such as Certified Member of the Institute (CMI), and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), or equivalent, and keep active in professional organizations on a local and national level.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
