The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, Corporate, the Manager Financial Reporting & Planning System is an essential part of the finance team, responsible for supporting accurate and timely financial reporting, with the keen ability to translate complex financial metrics and act as a trusted source of financial expertise to business stakeholders as well as planning system support.

What you will be doing

Team Member Focus

  • Manage one direct report, Financial Systems Analyst
  • Integral member of the Finance team ensuring Corporate Performance Management (CPM) OneStream system meets business needs
  • Chief liaison between Finance and IT department on any issues related to CPM / data integration / other applicable company BI initiatives
  • Develop relationships with other working groups in and outside of Finance to achieve objectives
Business Requirements
  • Oversee all aspects of the CPM (OneStream) system including financial reporting, management reporting, planning and data transformation
  • Develop and implement innovative ideas to better meet needs of business while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data is maintained
  • Ability to collect business requirements and transform them into technical deliverables
  • Manage all related communications
  • Provide support and training to user base
Technical Requirements
  • Subject Matter Expert for all aspects of CPM system including security, metadata changes, business rules, scripting, reporting and data integration with source systems
  • Able to dissect complex system architecture and understand the data lineage from source to destination
  • Passion for continuous improvement in delivering state-of-the-art consolidation, reporting and planning system
  • Liaise with vendors / consultants on complex technical requirements
  • Staying up-to-date on new system offerings and identifying new opportunities
What you will bring
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hands-on finance applications support role
  • Strong understanding of the following: Scripting languages such as VB (.net) and SQL, Performance Management applications such as OneStream, Hyperion, Power BI or similar and ETL applications integrating data from multiple source systems
  • Disciplined approach to testing, implementing and documenting system functionality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including written, verbal and presentation
  • Able to build strong working relationships in all areas of the organization
  • Proven ability to succeed in a high-volume environment
