The Opportunity

The Manager, Financial Reporting & Internal Controls will oversee the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate financial statements for our Base Metals business. This role will also be required to establish and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial records.

Other accountabilities for this role include:

• Be the accounting advisor, preparing accounting opinions for different matters and transactions
• Continuously monitor and enhance control procedures to mitigate risk
• Prepare reporting materials to the Base Metals Leadership and Board of Directors
• Prepare and design accounting policies for the base metals group
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Oversee finance teams for international sites

About You

Education

• Undergraduate degree in related field
• CPA designation required

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in similar field
• Previous leadership experience

Skills

• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting System (IFRS)
• Strong technical skills around internal controls framework
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Excellent attention to detail
