The Financial Planning Team continues to collaborate with FNHA Teams to reform and redesign health programs to First Nations individuals, families, and communities. The Manager of Financial Planning plays a very important role contributing to this innovative work.

Salary:

$99,899 - $117,528 - $135,158 per year (pay range explained below)

Hours:

37.5 hours (core hours Mon-Fri 9am-3pm)

Location:

Alberni (Metro Vancouver) on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations - Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA's flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.

About the role



As the Manager, Financial Planning, you will manage the development and implementation of specialized financial programs and services. You will manage a multi-disciplinary team of staff. As well, you will oversee information sharing, problem solving, and decision-making across a multi-disciplinary team. Additionally, you will support the Director in the delivery of strategic and tactical budget utilization advice to the VP and the CEO. In addition, you will lead research and analysis of best practices in designated program areas, identify opportunities to incorporate into existing or new Finance programs.

About you



Education



Successful completion of a degree with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce

Experience



8 years or more specialized experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Occupational Certification



Recognized accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CGA)

Knowledge



Advanced knowledge of the concepts, practices, methods and techniques pertaining to the Finance field Solid analytical skills to assess Finance and budgetary practices, policies, processes and metrics Solid leadership skills to manage diverse Finance programs and services

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
