Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Finance Manager to join our team in an on-site role. The successful candidate will work from our physical office location, as remote work is not available for this position. This role is part of our business services and private security agency environment.

Education

College, CEGEP, or non-university diploma (1-2 years) in:

Accounting

Business/Management

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years

Prior experience in management or finance roles is required

Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and control budgets and expenditures

Develop and implement financial policies and procedures

Monitor and maintain financial control systems

Oversee the collection, interpretation, and analysis of financial data

Prepare and review financial reports

Supervise a team of 5-10 staff across different operational areas

Technical Skills

Proficiency in the following systems and software is required:

MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word

MS Project

Visual Basic

QuickBooks

Accounting and desktop publishing software
