In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of event production, ensuring the delivery of high-quality branded experiences. You will serve as the primary production contact for tier 1-2 event projects within Lighthouse, overseeing third-party vendors and managing the development and execution of post-design production deliverables.Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Production of large-scale experiential marketing events & conferences and unique live event activation ideas (materials, custom builds, print and promo swag etc.).
  • Manage all aspects of event print and swag production, including pre-production audits, planning, vendor selection, onsite set-up and tear-down, and post event wrap-up, and invoicing.
  • Help establish the vision for the event. Participate in internal creative brainstorming meetings, contributing to production process that bring creative to life, working within budget and may include competitive quoting.
  • Identify and understand the capabilities of our current vendor base and bring in new vendors to meet or elevate as needed. This will include an understanding of policy/procedure and working within our TPRM systems.
  • Manage multiple events at differing levels of complexity at the same time, keeping all details organized and keeping the event on time and on budget.
  • Manage multiple event locations and coordinate logistics across venues.
  • Availability to attend site visits and be onsite during the event to manage logistics and trouble-shoot issues as and when they arise.
  • Work with Lighthouse Account Management team to create production timelines and ensure teams adhere to schedules and execute programs within budget.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal partners, creatives, and external vendors to deliver seamless best in class event experiences.
  • Support in an overflow capacity adhoc commercial print & swag requests as needed.

  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
  • This is a regular full-time position based out of our office at 100 Yonge Street, Toronto. Hybrid (6 days a month in office).
  • Occasional travel domestically may be required for onsite audits, event set ups, tear downs, etc. (40% of the time).
  • Flexibility in work hours during activation periods, as needed (not a standard 9-5).
  • Access to vehicle for meeting/site visits.

  • Accountable for maintaining accurate records for approved budgets and ensuring all invoices are submitted accurately and on time. Ensures that all operational processes and procedures are followed including and not limited to ensuring print samples are logged and sent to Records & Retention on a quarterly basis.
  • The incumbent is expected to manage the priorities of their assigned production projects on a daily basis within the structure of the project critical paths. The position requires a considerable degree of judgment and common sense to allocate resources and adjudicate on production matters. The incumbent is required to demonstrate a high level of problem solving and improvisational abilities to manage changing priorities and crises within the process.
  • Strong analytical, presentation and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Advertising/Marketing agency experience is an asset.
  • Vendor management experience an asset.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written; French & Spanish is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education equivalent to a Bachelor\'s Degree or College diploma in Print Production, Graphic Design, or Event Design.
  • 8+ years of experience as Print Buyer, Events or Marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in: print & branded goods buying, print production, project management, event management and vendor management.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
  • Demonstrate a learning mindset that strives for new, better, more innovative results.
  • Have the ability to work on complex projects collaboratively and independently, within tight deadlines, adapt to changing deadlines and deliver material as per workback schedule.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communications skills to clearly communicate the complexities and components of any project to external suppliers and internal groups.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills with client focus and ability to work with peers, internal clients and external partners at all levels.
  • Have a keen eye for detail with ability to proofread final copy and ensure delivery excellence for all project deliverables.
  • The incumbent must use keen judgment and strong negotiation skills to select and manage the outside suppliers as well as ensure the cooperation and assistance of all stake holders.
  • Advanced knowledge of Financial Services marketing would be an asset.
