About the Role




As an

EHS Manager

, you will play a key role in implementing and monitoring programs that ensure a safe work environment, regulatory compliance, and environmental protection. This position covers multiple sites and requires close collaboration with local teams and leadership.

Key Responsibilities



Lead EHS governance: conduct gap analyses and audits to ensure compliance and promote best practices. Monitor and audit EHS programs to reduce environmental risks and prevent workplace injuries. Track corrective and preventive actions from internal and external audits; escalate critical non-compliance issues. Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to assess EHS risks and improve production processes. Train and coach site EHS teams to ensure understanding and application of EHS systems and tools. Provide technical support and mentorship to site EHS personnel and maintain alignment with corporate/regional requirements. Oversee incident investigations, ensuring accurate root cause analysis and effective corrective actions. Improve emergency management plans and ensure proper preparedness and response procedures. Analyze EHS data to identify priorities and propose regional-level corrective actions.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field, or equivalent experience. 3-7 years in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment. Must be able to travel to meetings, training, audits, and other sites when required. Represents 25-35% of your time. Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (asset). Experience working with government agencies and external stakeholders. Bilingual (French/English in Canada, Spanish/English in the U.S.) is a plus. Strong leadership and ability to influence change. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Data analysis and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
