Reporting to the Executive Director, Human Resources, this position will provide leadership and support for all aspects of organizational and employee development. This includes strategic workforce planning, leadership and professional development, employee engagement and training.
Provide day-to-day direction and leadership to the Organizational Development Consultant and Training Consultants.
Lead the design, development and implementation of organizational and employee development activities, including succession management, talent management, career development planning, and employee onboarding and orientation.
Lead the design, development, implementation and evaluation of the Corporate Learning Plan by applying a strategic, blended learning approach to employee development that is aligned with the Corporate Strategic Plan.
Collaborate with business partners to develop programs for learning and development. This includes identifying desired outcomes, assessing training needs, designing tools and processes, selecting external vendors and participating in program delivery.
Partner with the Human Resources team to design, develop and maintain an engaging onboarding experience for new employees.
Champion the engagement survey process and support internal business partners in developing strategies to continuously improve employee engagement.
Stay current with innovative Organizational Development and Organizational Effectiveness industry trends and best practices.
Administer the corporate learning management system and experience in developing and delivering competency-based training.
Develop and maintain Human Resource policies specifically related to organizational development.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this position you will need a diploma in Human Resources, Adult Education or Organizational Development supplemented with three years of professional experience in Human Resources.
Adult Education and/or CHRP certification is an asset
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in talent management, succession planning, change management, and performance management.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team of HR professionals.
Strong facilitation, organizational and project management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication. Demonstrated ability to communicate with people from various levels within an organization to build effective relationships.
A criminal record check is required.
Should the successful candidate participate in the Crop Insurance or AgriStability Programs, their account must be in good standing.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
